Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge

On a recent visit to the town Bagamoyo in Tanzania we travelled down this lane of mango trees planted in 1870  by the first catholic missionaries in East Africa. The lane leads to the church on the one side and a cross planted on the beach on the other side.

    • Hi Linda Thanks for visiting. Yes mango trees become very old and very big. The people of Tanzania and Zanzibar also use the wood to build their traditional wooden dowhs used for fishing.
